Verification in FitFinder
At FitFinder, we care deeply about the safety and trust of our community. Our goal is to ensure that users have access to professional and trustworthy trainers. Although verification is not currently mandatory for joining the app, we highly encourage users to look for the blue checkmark next to a trainer’s name. This indicates that the trainer has undergone our verification process, confirming their identity and qualifications.
How We Verify Trainers
To become a verified trainer on FitFinder, trainers must go through a series of steps:
Digital Meeting: Every verified trainer has had at least a digital meeting with our team. This allows us to personally connect and validate their commitment.
Identity Verification: Trainers provide a government-issued ID to confirm their identity.
Qualifications and Certifications: When available, we also request relevant fitness certifications or other documents that prove their expertise and credibility.
Final Approval: Once we've gathered enough information and completed our review, trainers receive the blue checkmark as a verified professional.
While we strive to create a secure and reliable platform, it’s important to note that no system is entirely bulletproof. We encourage all users to exercise common sense, stay vigilant, and report any inappropriate behavior or suspicious activities.
Phone Number Verification for Users
For additional security, we verify users through phone number verification. While this is part of our safety measures, our primary focus remains on thoroughly vetting trainers to maintain a high standard of quality and trust on the platform.
Thank you for being a part of FitFinder, and remember, your safety is our priority. If you encounter any issues or have concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
